Granada Theatre Event Crew – Part Time
The Event Crew member provides excellent facilities oversight and support for performances, rehearsals and private events at The Granada. Tasks include opening and closing the building, setting up and breaking down needed items such as tables and chairs, cleaning up spills, correcting basic plumbing issues and other facilities related tasks. Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously, react professionally and independently in time critical situations with a wide variety of people.
Variable hours based on Granada event schedule, generally up to 10-15 hours per week mostly evenings and weekends. Part-time schedule is dependent on event times and frequency, some weeks may have no hours and others may have up to 25 hours.
Must have some knowledge of basic plumbing repair, cleaning, light maintenance, and safe handling of items up to 50 pounds. Must have customer service experience, event logistics and an eye for detail. High school education or AA degree or coursework or equivalent experience. Must have a valid CA Driver’s license
