We have exciting news!
The Central Coast Social Justice Academy is pleased to announce the Community Organizer of the Year Awards to honor and recognize Ventura and Santa Barbara County community organizers.
Community Organizers work tirelessly and are not recognized enough for their work in building grassroots leasers and leading social movements. These new awards come with $2,500 paid directly to the winning organizer – one for Ventura County and one for Santa Barbara County.
Can you help us? Please consider which organizers are making an impact in your community and complete the simple nomination form.
Deadline to make a nomination is March 19, 2026.
Winners will receive their award at a reception in June 2026.
