Youth Program Director

This position is full-time, exempt, 40 hours/week, working with The Santa Ynez Valley Youth Coalition, area school districts, youth mentoring programs and substance use disorder prevention programs. The Director is responsible for implementing PHP’s youth programs and facilitating the Santa Ynez Valley Youth Coalition. Responsibilities include managing Federal, State and County prevention grants to reduce/prevent youth substance abuse in the Santa Ynez Valley.  The Director will hire, train and mentor staff and build the volunteer capacity of a Youth Coalition, in order to assist with program and grant objectives, activities, evaluations and outcomes. BA/BS in Education or Human Services, 2 years’ experience working with youth.  Non-profit experience.  Preferably proficient in English and Spanish. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Youth Program Director (Director) is responsible for implementing PHP’s youth programs and Youth Coalition.
