PathPoint is now seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join our corporate HR team. PathPoint is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Barbara, CA; we partner with people with disabilities, people with mental health diagnoses, and young adults to pursue their hopes and dreams through strengthening workplace abilities, building life skills, and developing meaningful relationships. PathPoint supports over 2,400 individuals annually in five counties of Central and Southern California.

Job Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Human Resources provides strategic management oversight in implementing, directing, and monitoring all HR functions for PathPoint, including employee relations, employee experience, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, talent acquisition, and learning and development, while ensuring the HR function is aligned with overall organizational goals and strategies.

Summary of Essential Talents, Education, and Experience

PathPoint is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with all stakeholders; is a thoughtful, influential, communicative, and productive leader; can solve complex issues; is a role model for cultural sensitivity, respect, kindness, and compassion; and is an agent of productive change. A bachelor’s degree and solid knowledge of California and Federal employment laws are required, HR certification through SHRM or HRCI is desirable, and at least 8 years of progressive and comprehensive HR experience is our target.

Compensation: This is an exempt position with an annualized starting pay range of $95,000 to $115,000 depending on talent, education, and experience. The annualized pay range for this position’s pay grade is $72,000 to $119,500. Wages are subject to change based on a variety of factors, and the maximum pay represents the wage potential based on attaining the highest level of position experience, talent, and responsibilities.

Location: This is an in-office position or a hybrid remote/in-office position based in one of the five counties where PathPoint has offices: Santa Barbara, Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura.
