Position Title: Ticket Office Assistant Manager

Full-Time Monday, June 6 through Monday August 8, 2022
Position Description
The Ticket Office Assistant Manager is responsible for selling and processing ticket orders, giving excellent customer service, maintaining efficient Ticket Office operations, and providing oversight to Ticket Office Associates.
Position Responsibilities
- Works with Director of Audience Experience and Engagement to ensure Spektrix ticketing system is updated in preparation for Summer Festival
- Processes single ticket and subscription orders, providing individual attention to patrons to ensure they have the correct tickets
- Serves as proxy to the Director of Audience Experience and Engagement when necessary
- Administers return ticket donations, including reporting Obtains correct and complete patron information for all transactions.
- Sets the standard for attentive, courteous, and sincere customer service – both for external and internal clients
- Keeps an orderly and professional environment/workstation in which to greet the public and conduct business
- Ensures that posters and brochures describing upcoming events are current, on display, and readily available to patrons
- Assists with oversight of the Ticket Office Associates
- Other duties may be assigned.

Note that the Music Academy looks to fill up to four Audience Services Associate positions. Responsibilities will be assigned based on the strengths and experience of the selected candidates.

- Bachelor’s degree (or degree in progress) in Music, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Passion for producing varied events at the highest possible level
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, supervisory, and communications skills
- Experience in sales, retail, and/or customer-facing roles
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work on a team and adapt to changing work priorities
- Comfort with computers and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Knowledge of classical music
Additional Requirements
· Some nights and weekends
- All administration, faculty, and fellows on campus must provide proof of COVID vaccination
Compensation and Benefits
This is a seasonal, non-exempt position. Compensation is $21 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience. Seasonal employees are not eligible for Music Academy benefits.
