We have full-time, part-time and substitute openings for all Teacher levels in our Head Start program in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria & Lompoc areas. Our Children’s Services Program, inspires and provides foundational care and education daily to over 1,100 children and their families throughout the county. Help us to positively impact the development of each child’s ability to acquire knowledge, socialize with others, and to nurture their confidence, health, nutrition, and overall socioeconomic wellbeing.
REQUIRES: Teacher Assistants: ability to enroll in Early Childhood Education units and experience working with preschool age, toddlers or infants preferred. Level I: 12 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development in core course or hold Associate Teacher permit or Child Development Associate permit. Level II – Associates in ECE/CD or a related field and eligible for a CD Teacher permit or higher. Teacher position in the Early Head Start program require a minimum of 6 units of Infant/Toddler Development.
Wage: starts between $15.19 – $19.49 per hour with final pay being discussed and agreed upon after an offer has been extended. All regular positions in Goleta, Santa Barbara & Carpinteria area also receive a locality stipend between $100 – $250 per month in addition to their hourly rate of pay.
