Wilderness Youth Project grows the way strong community organizations do: organically, relationally, held together by people who care deeply about the work. Now we’re investing in the durable infrastructure that growth deserves, and this role is at the center of it. We’re hiring an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day functioning of our organization: a beautiful Santa Barbara office that welcomes staff, families, and visitors. This role is the operational backbone that lets our program teams do their best work with kids in nature. This is a hands-on, in-the-office role, not a delegate-and-oversee position. This is a full-time, onsite role in the Santa Barbara, CA office, Monday–Friday, 9 AM- 5 PM.
Is this you?
- Tech-comfortable, a systems builder
- 4+ years of nonprofit or business administration/operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, work, and life experience
- Highly organized, strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- Energized by an in-person, Monday–Friday, hands-on role
- Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
