One805 is a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Santa Barbara, dedicated to supporting First Responders through critical equipment grants, mental wellness programmes and high profile community fundraising events. We are building a structured Endowment Campaign to secure the long term sustainability of our mission.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Development Manager with experience in endowment growth and capital campaigns. This role will support and help drive a multi million dollar Endowment Campaign, working closely with leadership and the board to strengthen major donor engagement and campaign discipline. This position is hybrid.
The successful candidate will be externally confident, organised, and motivated to build momentum within a structured fundraising framework.
Key Responsibilities
– Support execution of the Endowment and Capital Campaign strategy
– Build and manage a major donor pipeline
– Work closely with board members to encourage fundraising participation
– Prepare campaign materials and donor communications
– Oversee CRM discipline and donor segmentation
– Track progress and report on campaign performance
Qualifications
– Experience supporting or leading an endowment or capital campaign
– Proven track record in major gift fundraising
– Strong organisational and relationship building skills
– CRM proficiency required
– Ability to work independently with energy and focus
Compensation
$40 per hour for an initial three month review period, with the potential to move into a full time salaried position upon successful performance review.
