Partners in Housing Solutions was established in 2015. The mission of PHS is to help people who are experiencing homelessness to secure and retain permanent housing through a network of private landlords. To date, the organization has housed over 1,000 people using a collaborative approach between landlords and social service agencies.
Seeking a case aide to support with administrative duties. The individual must have a passion for housing the homeless and broad cultural sensitivity. Our office is in Santa Maria but we provide services throughout Santa Barbara County. On occasion, this position may require traveling.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good time management and prioritization skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to work well both independently and as a team
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is desirable, but not required.
Examples of duties include:
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Answer the main phone line and relay messages to staff
- Assist staff with administrative duties including but not limited to:
- Process/Review new applications
- Client check-ins
- Data tracking
- Draft Letters
- Mailings
- Assist with email campaigns
FILING/DOCUMENTATION
- Maintain client files with accurate documentation of services provided
- Timely filing of all communication in client files
- Assist in collecting and filing documentation necessary for various programs
- Maintain PHS files as assigned
DATA ENTRY
- Weekly CRM data entry
- HMIS data recording
- Run reports- (ie, weekly client list)
- Internal reports
- Maintain donors and contacts current in databases
