The League of Women Voters plays a significant role in South Coast communities by registering voters, informing voters about issues, holding candidate forums, and explaining ballot measures. We do not endorse candidates or political parties, but we do take positions on issues through study and consensus. We encourage informed and active participation in government and influence public opinion through education and advocacy. The League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.
