Intro Course: Restorative Justice Facilitator Training

Freedom 4 Youth will be hosting a Restorative Justice Facilitator Course this spring. We would love to have you join us or help share this opportunity with others in your network.

This training is designed to strengthen facilitation skills, deepen restorative practices, and support more effective, community-centered responses to harm. It brings together professionals and community members committed to accountability, healing, and working alongside youth in meaningful ways.

Intro to Restorative Justice (5-hour course)
 Saturday, April 11
 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 UCSB (room TBD)

This introductory session serves as the first step in our facilitator training pathway. Participants will have the opportunity to continue into our practicum:

Facilitator Practicum (7 weeks)
 Thursdays, April 23 to June 4
 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
 Saturday, May 30 (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

The practicum focuses on applied skill-building, including circle facilitation, restorative dialogue, and working directly with youth impacted by the criminal legal system.
