Building on the community-building successes of The Coalition for Publicly Engaged Social Sciences (CoPES) Community Summit and the “Futures of Foundations” series, UCSB’s Orfalea Center for Global & International Studies is eager to continue facilitating dialogue and the exchange of expertise across our community.
Join us for a specialized minicourse where experts from local non-profits, foundations, international organizations, and campus-based philanthropy specialists will share proven strategies and knowledge on fundraising and grant seeking.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Enrollment is open to anyone looking to develop their funding capabilities.
We encourage applications from:

Non-profit employees or volunteers with fundraising or grant-writing responsibilities;

Staff members of philanthropic organizations;

Academic project leaders, faculty, graduate students, and proposal drafters;

Individuals proposing research or action-oriented international projects.

Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
Format: Five 2-hour, in-person sessions
