Coastal Cleanup Day

Isn’t it time to show your favorite beach or creek some love?

Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 15th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. An international day of volunteer action, Coastal Cleanup Day offers community members a chance to give back to the beautiful beaches that make Santa Barbara County such a wonderful place to live. Get outside, enjoy nature, and remove marine debris from our beaches and waterways.

The largest volunteer effort in California, Coastal Cleanup Day is our day to give back to the ocean, beaches, and creeks that make Santa Barbara County such a wonderful place to live.Volunteers of all ages can participate at any of the 2018 cleanup sites. Pre-register to be entered in a Raffle with prizes from Patagonia, REI, Mountain Air Sports, and more!

Last year 1,089 Santa Barbara County volunteers picked up 4,635 lbs. of trash and 1,433 lbs. of recyclables. Let’s make 2018 a huge success by removing more trash off our beaches!
