Event Description
As fundraising professionals you hold great power in the stories you choose to share about those you serve. Storytelling at its best can be an empowering tool to shed light on issues that need support, at its worst it can also be a tool for supporting the very inequities that exist in our society. In this workshop you will learn more about:
-
The importance of intentional approaches to storytelling in the nonprofit sector
-
How program evaluation can be leveraged in fundraising efforts
-
How to ground, gather, and systematically collect stories that empower!
