Go fearlessly toward embracing your place in the important arena of advocacy. Create relationships, understand legislation and navigate the system so you can  be involved, do your part, and create relationships with public officials. Through a discussion with a nonprofit leader and a public affairs consultant, you will find simple tips that you can turn into practical steps toward understanding the way government works for YOU. For nonprofits of all sizes and missions to help understand advocacy at a local, state and national level, find resources and tools, and hear simple ideas.
