Santa Barbara, CA – On Wednesday, November 15, YouthWell, in collaboration with the Santa Barbara County Education Office and Santa Barbara County Behavioral Wellness, will host its South County Youth Linkages Network (YLN) Retreat. The YLN Retreat, held at Direct Relief in South County, will bring together resource navigators, school counselors, psychologists, and family advocates from across Santa Barbara County to further expand and strengthen the network of support for youth mental health.
Each YLN meeting is dedicated to fostering collaboration among mental health professionals and community organizations, with a rotating focus on key issues impacting youth. Attendees will engage in discussions, share insights, and develop actionable strategies to improve mental health resources and accessibility for young people.
The November retreat aims to enhance countywide connections, encouraging participation from organizations and school districts throughout Santa Barbara County. YouthWell, alongside partners SB County Education Office and SB County Behavioral Wellness, recognizes the power of collective action in addressing youth mental health needs and looks forward to a robust turnout.
