Women’s History Month is coming close to the end and we wanted to honor another extraordinary woman that has made lasting impacts on the Santa Barbara County community, Jean Schuyler.
Jean had a close relationship with the Foundation and also served as a trustee. She was a supporter of the arts, education, environment, and women’s issues. Places like the Douglas Family Preserve and Ellwood Mesa were two of the many projects that Jean championed for and are here today for us to enjoy. Jean passed away in 2019 but her work lives on today in our community.
