Santa Barbara, CA – ¡Viva el Arte de Santa Bárbara! (Viva) ha regresado por primera vez desde 2020! Desde su establecimiento como un programa gratis de artes comunitarias en 2006, Viva ha unificado personas de antecedentes diversos del condado de Santa Bárbara para celebrar música y baile Latino Américano.

Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar ha estado cautivando audiencias por más de 26 años por todo México y EE.UU. Apareciendo en la nueva canción de Camila Cabello, “La Buena Vida!,” Mariachi Garibaldi regularmente comparte el escenario con los artistas más queridos de México. Bajo la dirección de Jimmy “El Pollo” Cuéllar, hijo de Jaime, Mariachi Garibaldi ha aparecido en Auditorium Theater en Chicago, Teatro Degollado, Valley Performing Arts Center, The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Bakersfield Fox Theater, Chandler Center for the Arts, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Tempe Center for the Arts, y Gallo Center for the Arts. Mariachi Garibaldi mantiene su asociación con Ballet Folklórico de Los Angeles y conjuntos han entretenido a miles de personas en espectáculos con entradas agotadas. 

Originario de Bakersfield, California, Jimmy Cuéllar empezó su carrera de Mariachi cuando era un adolescente. Junto a su padre, fue miembro fundador de Mariachi Garibaldi. Su dedicación a su arte inspiró a “El Pollo” a afinar sus habilidades con el violín, guitarron, vihuela, guitarra, y guitarra de golpe, asegurando su lugar con Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano. Apareció en el album, “cELLAbration: A Tribute to Ella Jenkins,” que ganó un Grammy, y en el álbum, “Llegaron Los Camperos: Concert Favorites of Nati Cano’s Mariachi Los Camperos,” que recibió una nominación Grammy en la categoría, “Best Mexican Album.” Aumentó su éxito Grammy con Cien Por Ciento Mexicano de Pepe Aguilar y Amor, Dolor, y Lagrimas. www.mariachigaribaldi.net

Santa Barbara, CA – ¡Viva el Arte de Santa Bárbara! (Viva) is back in 2023 for the first time since 2020! Since its establishment as a free community arts program in 2006, Viva has brought together people of diversebackgrounds from across Santa BarbaraCounty to celebrate the music and dance of Latin America.

Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar has been delighting audiences throughout Mexico and the U.S. for the past 26 years. Featured on Camila Cabello’s new song, “La Buena Vida!,” the ensemble Mariachi Garibaldi regularly shares the stage with some of Mexico’s most beloved performers. Under the direction of Jimmy “El Pollo” Cuéllar,son of Jaime, they have appeared at theAuditorium Theater in Chicago, Teatro Degollado, Valley Performing Arts Center, The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Bakersfield Fox Theater, Chandler Center for the Arts, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Tempe Center for the Arts, and Gallo Center for the Arts. Mariachi Garibaldi enjoys a professional partnership with Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles and together they have entertained thousands of people at sold-out venues.

Originally from Bakersfield, California, Jimmy Cuéllar began his mariachi career as a teenager alongside his father, and was a founding member of Mariachi Garibaldi. His dedication to his craft drove “El Pollo” to fine tune his skills on the violin,guitarron, vihuela, guitar,and guitarra de golpe, securing him a place with Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano.He was featured on the Grammy Award winning album cELLAbration: A Tribute to Ella Jenkins, and the following year, Llegaron Los Camperos: Concert Favorites of Nati Cano’s Mariachi Los Camperos received a Grammy nomination for Best Mexican Album.
