Last week our SBF staff volunteered with Channel Island Restoration (CIR) to install a wildlife watering tank at the San Marcos Foothills. Doug Morgan with CIR led the team in landscaping, digging, and education about the land, plants, and animals. Last year, we served as the fiscal sponsor for Foothills Forever which raised over $18 million to preserve these wonderful foothills in perpetuity. CIR continue to care for these lands for both community members and wildlife. Thank you CIR and our staff for their work in making a difference in Santa Barbara County.
