Jodi House Adds 2 Neuroscience Experts to Board of Directors

Jodi House has welcomed Arianne Johnson and Tiff Thompson, two experts in neuroscience and research, to its Board of Directors.

Johnson is a medical research scientist, with some 20 years experience in conducting academic and medical research.

She is currently a research scientist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, having developed more than 100 research and quality improvement projects with local and national partnerships.

Her areas of study include neuroscience (i.e. traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, stroke, and action planning), trauma (i.e. injury prevention and advancing care of the trauma patient), surgery, rehabilitation, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and community health.

Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D in psychological and brain sciences with a focus on cognitive neuroscience from UC Santa Barbara.

Thompson is a distinguished clinical neuroscientist, neurodiagnostic specialist, licensed therapist, and educator. She is the founder and CEO of NeuroField Neurotherapy, a neurotherapy clinic in Santa Barbara.

Thompson holds board certifications in neurotherapy and quantitative EEG, as well as a Registered EEG Technician, a medical credential signaling technical proficiency in neurodiagnostics.

The creator of The School of Neurotherapy, she teaches both live and online courses through that school, and addresses professional neuroscience and neurotherapy conferences worldwide.

Thompson has served as executive director of the Western Association of Biofeedback and Neuroscience. She also serves on the Board of the International Quantitative EEG Certification Board.
