Hutton Parker Foundation Welcomes Grants Administrator

Carly Bass Joins Hutton Parker Foundation as Grants Administrator

Hutton Parker Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Carly Bass, Grants Administrator to the Foundation’s staff. As Grants Administrator, Ms. Bass will be responsible for oversight and coordination of Hutton Parker Foundation’s grants and distributions programs. She will work closely with Susan Parker, HPF’s Vice President, Grants & Distributions to support existing funding and to help identify new and emerging needs throughout the Santa Barbara County nonprofit sector.

Carly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, focused on Human Services, from Westmont College and Master’s Degree in Organizational Management for Non-Profits from Antioch University. She has more than 20 years management experience serving local area nonprofits. Carly most recently served as Director of Development at Girls Inc. of Carpinteria.   Her extensive experience has also included contract positions at Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara and Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation; International Clinic Coordinator at SEE International; and Associate Director at Transition House.

Founded in 1980, Hutton Parker Foundation strives to provide organizational sustainability to community-based nonprofit organizations throughout Santa Barbara County and to assist agencies in achieving their highest performance capacity and delivery of services resulting in stronger, more efficient communities for all.

The Foundation owns and operates 14 commercial properties housing nearly 50 nonprofit tenants.  Hutton Parker Foundation’s responsive granting programs include core/general operating support funding, media and marketing support in partnership with local media outlets, endowment and capital grants.  Since 1980, the Foundation’s assets have increased to more than $130,000,000 while distributing nearly $100,000,000 in grants and rent subsidies to local nonprofits.
