Augie’s of Santa Barbara seeks local non-profit partnerships

Request for 501c3 partnership

Augie’s, an exciting new restaurant with a targeted opening in June, 2022, is seeking 501c3 partners that reflect our mission/vision and values.

During our soft opening week, we will have 3 opportunities (Friday & Saturday dinners & Sunday brunch) for a different 501c3 to promote and sell tickets.  The only guests at each of these dining periods would be ticketed, and 100% of the revenue from ticket sales would go to your organization. We are seeking a different organization to be the primary partner for each of the 3 ticketed soft opening dining events. At these 3 events, the only additional cost that a ticketed patron would have is gratuity and alcoholic beverages – all food and nonalcoholic beverages would be provided gratis by Augie’s in exchange for the patron having purchased an entry ticket through the 501c3 organization.  At this time (subject to change based on construction/equipment/etc), the 3 ticketed events are planned for June 17, 18, & 19.  Each day the 501c3 would be able to sell 40-60 tickets.

Community engagement and giving back is a key component of Augie’s business model. Therefore, we are planning an ongoing monthly 501c3 events on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We are seeking 12 different 501c3 partners, where each partner ‘owns’ the marketing and promotion for that month.  In this ongoing engagement model, 10% of all sales across the entire day would be donated to the 501c3.  We would hope that this would be over a $1k donation, and of course the 501c3 could leverage this day for additional fundraising, marketing, donor thank you’s, etc.
