CommUnify of Santa Barbara County is seeking a skilled and energetic relationship builder who wants to have a lasting impact on Youth Safety and wellbeing in Goleta, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and unincorporated areas of southern Santa Barbara County (including Isla Vista).
Qualified candidates will have a passion and experience working with law enforcement, educators, mental health professionals, elected officials, and families and youth. Under general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and Family and Youth Services Program Director, the Program Manager, serves as the lead staff, implementing policy decisions and outcomes of the Policy Team, Strategy Team and Community Engagement Team of the South Coast Task Youth Safety Partnership. This job has limited supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRES: Bachelor’s Degree in Human or Social Services, Social Work or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the operations, services, and activities of a youth gang program, neighborhood services and social programs is required. Two (2) years direct experience in managing government funded programs, including program and budget planning is highly desired. Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and develop an understanding of specialized database applications. Valid CA Driver’s License required. Knowledge of budget preparation and control principles. Ability to support the development of grant proposals for program funding desirable. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
