Job Title:                               Office & Human Resources Associate

FLSA:                                      Non-Exempt

Reports to:                           Chief Executive Officer/President

Summary: 

Serves as office support for SEE’s programs, development, and administrative departments. Serves as a secondary point of contact for HR needs in partnership with contracted payroll and benefit vendor, Insperity. Develops programs for employee engagement and retention. Works closely or in partnership with SEE’s Finance Manager on reporting and or updating of employee related tasks. Oversees on boarding and off boarding practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Assist for programs-related events and vision screenings.
  • Assists with Development-related outreach efforts, and administrative record-keeping.
  • Assists with office, remote staff, and warehouse-related maintenance, supply shipping, and inventory when needed.
  • Provides support on the phones, picks up mail, and serves as the contact for office-related equipment/services.
  • Responds to employee issues and concerns; Maintains confidentiality of HR matters.
  • Communicates updates to staff such as employee handbook updates or policy updates/reinforcements.
  • Implements safety protocols and procedures; Maintains a safe working environment for employees.
  • Assists with distribution and collection of annual employee evaluations.
  • Assists and helps oversee relationships related to office maintenance (IT, phone, internet, cleaning, etc.)
  • Assists with job description development and position postings.
  • Assists with the recruitment of new employees; Interviews scheduling.
  • Assists with coordinating new employee activities, such as on boarding, orientation, introductions, benefits enrollment, and training procedures.
  • Organizes company programs and events to engage employees and increase retention.
  • Communicates with senior management for project updates, escalated issues, or reports.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.

Language Ability:

Technology Skills:

Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Position is hybrid allowing for both work from home and office.

Salary & Benefits:

$50,000-$58,000 depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, as well as paid vacation (flex PTO), holiday and sick time. This is a full-time position. Position is hybrid allowing for both work from home and office.
