Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Associates Degree, preferred
- One year of relevant job experience, preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong navigational knowledge of the area the organization operates within and/or strong navigational skills to learn the area
Position Summary:
Drivers are responsible for picking up donations, delivering items to clients, and assisting with warehouse work in a timely manner, among other duties. Drivers must have strong organizational and time-management skills as well as be adaptable to changes in their regular routines and routes. Drivers regularly lift heavy objects and load and unload them from organization vehicles, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina. Drivers will need to have strong navigational skills. Drivers will be expected to have strong interpersonal skills with coworkers, clients, and donation partners, conducting themselves with a positive attitude and professionalism at all times.
Ultimately, you should be able to support the organization’s operations, senior managers, and work to ensure our day-to-day delivery and warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
