Santa Barbara County, CA (January 9, 2022) – YouthWell presents Navigating your mental health, a free virtual workshop on Sunday, January 9th, 4:30 – 6:00 pm.
Students (ages 10-25), parents, teachers, and those working with youth will learn valuable resources on navigating mental health. Those who attend the virtual workshop will learn to…recognize the signs of a mental health challenge, understand the role of medication in treatment, understand the after-effects of the pandemic, understand why self-care matters and the importance of prioritizing early intervention, advocate for yourself and ask for help or support for a friend or your child, access resources and make telehealth work for you.
Our speakers will include mental health providers from Westmont, Hospice of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara City College, and Goleta Union School District.
