Momentum WORK, Inc., a Santa Barbara County non-profit, and service provider for adults with disabilities, is hosting its 2nd annual, “Fun in the Sun” Walk & Roll for Inclusion Awareness Event, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9:30AM – 12Noon, at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara. “Everyone is invited to come out for a day of fun and support our mission in ensuring that every part of the community is accessible to every citizen,” shares Executive Director, Judy Linares.
Event proceeds go toward improving the organization’s inclusive workforce programs that provide employment training and help connect disabled job seekers with local employers to grow and advance in their careers.
The walk and roll route will include an accessible 1.3-mile loop along Santa Barbara’s waterfront with taco truck, healthy snacks, and other non-profit resource booths for participants to enjoy at the park. Music will be provided by Chris Benedict and Charles Jefferson.
