Volunteer with STESA!

Become a part of STESA’s Crisis Intervention advocacy!

STESA is currently recruiting volunteers for our upcoming Hotline Advocacy Training.

The 60-hour training begins October 16, 2023 and ends December 2, 2023.

• Monday and Wednesdays virtually from 6:00-8:30 PM over Zoom.

• The following Saturdays in-person from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM:

  -October 21 and 28

  -November 4,11, and 18

  -December 2

(No classes the week of November 20th)

Once training and certification is completed, Advocates commit to a weekly 6-hour shift on the 24-hour Hotline to provide crisis counseling, information, advocacy and accompaniment to survivors of sexual assault and their families and friends. Advocates also provide support to survivors and their loved ones.
