CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:
Human Rights Watch is an international human rights monitoring and advocacy organization known for its in-depth investigations, its incisive and timely reporting, its innovative and high-profile advocacy campaigns, and its success in changing the human rights-related policies and practices of governments and international institutions.
Human Rights Watch is hosting its annual Voices for Justice dinner on June 1st, 2025, at Lotusland in Montecito, CA. This event, a fundraiser to support the work of Human Rights Watch, begins with registration and a reception at 2:45 PM, followed by a program and dinner at 4PM. The event will conclude by 7PM. Ideally, each volunteer will be available for a minimum of 4 hours between the hours of 9AM to 7PM within these two shifts:
- 1st Shift: 9AM to 2PM
- 2nd Shift: 1PM to 7PM
Volunteers may be involved with:
- Event Set-Up and Breakdown
- Live Fundraising Help
- Registration
- Greeting and Directing Guests; and
- Other Miscellaneous Tasks.
Please note that both shifts may involve light lifting and standing for extended periods of time. A brief online training prior to the event will be required. We will also provide dinner for all volunteers on-site!
