Volunteer Discovery Days at Carp History Museum

If you have thought about volunteering at the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History but weren’t sure how to get started, you’re in luck. The museum will host Volunteer Discovery Days, two separate drop-in sessions for those interested in volunteering and/or becoming a docent, on Sept. 10 and Sept. 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the museum, 956 Maple Ave. in downtown Carpinteria. Learn about the different opportunities to help make history happen. Don’t want to be roped into giving exhibition tours? No problem — options include front desk attendants, tour guides, gardeners, administrative assistants, and programs/events helpers.
