The Wilderness Table

The Wilderness Table invites you to indulge in a culinary journey celebrating local flavors and sustainable practices. Set against a backdrop of breathtaking vistas, each event is a feast for the senses, showcasing the best of our region’s food and wine while raising funds to support Los Padres ForestWatch’s critical work protecting our treasured wild places.

The Wilderness Table is more than a meal—it’s an experience featuring our region’s bounty and a commitment to protecting the Los Padres National Forest and our public lands.

Join us on May 4, 2025 at Groundstar Vineyard, in the Santa Rita Hills, located at 7253 Santos Rd, Lompoc, CA 93436. The event will start at 3pm with a reception featuring craft cocktails by Rock 12 Distillery and grazing boards prepared by Chef Jake O. Francis and his amazing team. Then Chiara Shannon, wine industry expert and owner of Groundstar Vineyard, will lead you on a tour of their vineyard. Dinner will start at 5pm and Chef Francis and his team will serve a beautiful dinner featuring the flavors of Spring complimented with local, sustainable, organic, and biodynamic wines.

Please note that our event is outdoors in the beautiful vineyard setting. To ensure your comfort, we recommend wearing sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection, opting for comfortable footwear suitable for walking on vineyard terrain, and dressing in layers to accommodate changing temperatures throughout the day.
