ParentWell 3-week skills-building support group for parents to learn strategies to help navigate the tween, teen, and young adult years. Focused on strengthening parent-child relationships, improving communication, and promoting family resiliency. Please make sure you are able to attend all 3 sessions in a series. There is space for 7-14 participants in each group. Registration is required >>

WHAT TO EXPECT: Peer relationships are a vital part of the teen years. The people around them influence their social identities and the way they feel about themselves. Navigating the pressures of social media, lack of face to face connection, peer pressure, toxic friendships, and bullying can create added stress for teens and cause social isolation. Learn how to support your teen in setting boundaries in their friendships, navigating screen time and unplugging from their devices.

DATE/TIME: 4:30-6pm – Monday, JAN 8, 15, 22

LOCATION: Groups are held at the SBCC Wake Center – 300 N. Turnpike. [Group is not part of, nor endorsed by Santa Barbara City College.] **We will also provide the option to attend if needed via Zoom however parents will benefit more from in-person) Please fill out online inquiry form prior to attending the first group. We will follow up and provide you with the information needed to participate

Groups are FREE. Donations are encouraged and appreciated.
