Love of Literacy Luncheon

Join Santa Barbara Unified School District Superintendent Hilda Maldonado and others to learn about the district’s work building literacy skills and how you can help.  Hosed by the SB Education Foundation, this inspirational event raises critical funds to support students and families in improving literacy for our community.  The third annual Love of Literacy Luncheon features SB Poet Laureate Melinda Palacio and local novelist Thomas Sanchez who will speak about his own literacy education and his latest novel, Oceano, Horse From the Sea.  The Love of Literacy Luncheon is free to attend thanks to the generosity of our donors, but reservations are required.
