Screening Conducted by California Lions – Friends in Sight, Stater Bros. Charities, and Essilor Vision Foundation

SHARE:

Share this event on your social media platforms or text, email, and verbally share the info and flyer to anyone who may benefit from a free vision screening or free recycled glasses

REFER:

Refer to us any optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, and other medical professionals who would be willing to volunteer their time in Guadalupe, CA for one day.

VOLUNTEER:

Volunteer your time and efforts on Saturday, August 13. There are many different opportunities to assist, and no experience is necessary.

Please, notify PDG Juanita Nichols at lionjuanitagn@gmail.com or 805-720-8508 if you can help out in any way on Saturday, August 13, in Guadalupe. If you are able to secure other volunteers, please have them notify PDG Juanita, or let her know directly yourself.

There are primarily two volunteer shifts to choose from. When you RSVP, please indicate your preference:
•7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
•11:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
(volunteers are always welcome to serve all day)

Be sure to include your name, Lions club name (if affiliated with one, but not required), and contact information (email and phone number) when you RSVP. A follow-up email will be sent closer to the actual day with details of the event.

INVITE:

Invite family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and persons from other service organizations to volunteer and take part in this vital service to a community in a part of our District that has never experienced such an event.
If you know someone that enjoys volunteering for a good cause, please share this with them!

Please consider donating – no amount is too small. Your funds will help enable events like this to continue throughout Southern California and District 4-A3.
