Join Compassionate Care of Carpinteria in a free Advance Care Planning workshop at Carpinteria Woman’s Club on October 18 and 25 from 4-5:30 pm.
Advance Care Planning is an important step that helps your medical team and loved ones know and respect your health care decisions in the event you have a medical emergency or are seriously ill and cannot speak for yourself.
Part 1 (10/18) of this workshop will review the MyCare document page by page and staff will provide examples of what to consider as you make your decisions.
Part 2 (10/25) will offer one-on-one help from trained experts to answer any question you have and who will help you complete the form in its entirety.
Please plan on attending both sessions unless you are only updating your document. A FREE NOTARY will be present during Part 2.
