Join us for a floral celebration in the Garden as you enjoy botanically inspired refreshments and learn creative uses for the plants and flowers all around us.
Loria Stern, baker, botanist, artist, and author of “Eat Your Flowers” will speak about her blooming processes of pressing, baking, and cooking with flowers from her garden. Mary Gonzalez, owner of Sweet Mountaintop, will be leading a wild-flower bouquet workshop using flowers from her Carpinteria farm. Guests will also be able to create their own sachet of edible wildflower seeds to grow in their backyard from the on-site Wildflower Seed Buffet.
