About Our Presenters
Rochelle Rose CFRE joined the SB Museum of Natural History as Development Officer Legacy Giving in 2016. Rose was awarded the Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2007. Previously she served as Director of Development & Marketing at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing, Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, and United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. A UCSB graduate, she has also completed successful capital campaigns at the Rehabilitation Institute, Girsh Park, San Marcos High School, Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics, and others. Rose is immediate past president of the Santa Barbara Council of Charitable Gift Planners.
Mona Motte Wilds is the Director of Gift Planning with Westmont College. She has worked in development for a variety of non-profit and educational
organizations including United Way, Boys Clubs of America, and Wagner College in New York
City. A UCSB graduate, Wilds also served as Director of Development at Laguna Blanca
School. She came to Westmont College in 2004 as a Regional Director of Development and later
joined the Office of Gift Planning in 2012 to focus attention on deferred gifts.
