We help you maximize positive engagement (of donors, board, staff, community), through strategically nurturing win win relationships. We specialize in major gifts coaching and organizational development/strategic planning. Our approach is strengths based; we find what’s working and help you build on it. We offer our expertise through executive coaching, training, tools and models, and facilitation.

Alpha Resource Center
Alpha Resource Center is a 60-year old nonprofit organization serving children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families in Santa Barbara County. When we hit a plateau in our fundraising we sought the support of a major gift coach to assist us. At that time we thought we just needed someone to help us develop new strategies to secure major gifts. Over time, with coaching, we learned to work better as a team, develop more in-depth relationships with our donors (which resulted in increased gifts), fine-tune our communication, and we became more inspired (and accountable) to our goals. Through coaching, we have been successful in building a team of organizational leaders who are mission focused, strategic in setting goals, impactful in their contribution, inspired and inspiring.

Center for Nonprofit Leadership
It has been my pleasure to work with Patricia Schwartz over the past 15 years. Patricia has been extraordinarily generous with her time and expertise, helping nonprofit leaders master the art of deep and authentic relationships with their donors and stakeholders. Over the course of just the past two years, Patricia has facilitated several high impact workshops for local leaders in the areas of major gifts fundraising, donor and board engagement and coaching skills for supervisors. Thank you Patricia!

Human Resources at an Institution of Higher Education
Our institution has used Ms. Schwartz’s services for a variety of work, such as: teambuilding using the principles of Kouzes and Posner’s Leadership Challenge; planning and facilitating team retreats; training supervisors; and conducting focus groups. She is attentive to the client’s needs and plans thoughtfully. Ms. Schwartz is able to make adjustments in the moment as the situation calls for it, and is always eager to receive feedback after an engagement. She focuses on helping clients develop concrete plans of action so that they can achieve results. Ms. Schwartz was initially engaged by HR, and then as members of staff and administration became familiar with her work, they have engaged her services for other projects — I believe this is a great testament to her effectiveness and her clear understanding of our organizational culture.
