I've been a fundraising and board development consultant for more than 20 years. I have raised millions of dollars and consulted for dozens of nonprofit organizations. I've been on 13 boards of directors, holding every officer's position, starting at age 16. I grew up in Santa Barbara and went to Santa Barbara Junior High, Santa Barbara High School and Santa Barbara City College before graduating with a BA in Political Science from Occidental College. I help nonprofit organizations raise more money in less time at lower cost. I teach fundraising and board development through Cal Lutheran's Center for Nonprofit Leadership and at Spokes in San Luis Obispo. I'm currently the Vice President for Communications on the local board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
