Before joining Hutton Parker Foundation in May 1996, Pam, an Ohio native and BGSU graduate, spent more than 15 years as an executive in the marketing, advertising and public relations industry. Shifting from the for-profit to the non-profit sector was like switching from selling her soul to feeding her soul. Her current duties include identification, facilitation and evaluation of special initiatives, nonprofit facilities coordination and management, funding administration and Board support.
David Fortson NPRN Community Manager & Chief Communications Officer
David came to UCSB in 1993 and immediately immersed himself in community issues around sustainability and social equity. He has served in the capacity of volunteer, staff, boardmember, and/or executive director of regional nonprofits since 1998. David left the nonprofit world to learn the world of business at a then startup digital music company called Sonos. After four years at Sonos, David returned to his roots synthesizing the best of his nonprofit and business experience as CEO of the mission-driven company LoaCom. LoaCom is a ‘better world strategies’ consulting agency focused on nonprofits, foundations and business. The LoaCom team designed and maintains the current version of the NPRNSB.org.
Aaron Roessler NPRN Lead Web Developer
After exploring careers and lifestyles from San Jose to Hawaii, Illinois and Austin Texas, he is now married and settling his roots in Santa Barbara. As part of the LoaCom team, Aaron is responsible for web development and graphic design.
The Nonprofit Resource Network serves a digital hub for the central coast non-profit community. NPRN offers nonprofit boardmembers, staff, volunteers and consultants the ability to connect, share, learn, find and discover new information and people in the regional nonprofit community.
