On the morning of Friday, May 9, Friendship Center hosted a heartfelt Mother’s Day Breakfast honoring the incredible mothers and mother figures among its members and their families. Nearly 30 guests gathered at the Center’s Montecito campus to share a meal, connect with loved ones, and celebrate the nurturing spirit that spans generations.
The event featured a delicious buffet breakfast served by Friendship Center staff, designed to express gratitude to all the moms who have shaped lives with love and strength. Guests were welcomed into a warm, beautiful environment where they could relax, enjoy meaningful time with family and friends, and feel truly appreciated.
Adding a special touch to the occasion, Thrive Causemetics generously donated a collection of high-quality cosmetics, offered as free gifts to all mothers in attendance. These thoughtful products served as tokens of appreciation, helping moms feel pampered and celebrated.
“It was powerful to see generations come together, gathered in one space to be recognized and cared for,” said Justine Casady, Marketing and Events Coordinator at Friendship Center. “This event is just one way we honor the vital role women play in families and in our community, while continuing to provide a safe and supportive space for our members.”
Friendship Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing daytime care for older adults living with dementia, creates opportunities like these to promote joy, connection, and dignity for both its members and their loved ones.
