The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Events Coordinator in the Foundation office.

“BIG PICTURE” RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Development (Foundation) of the College of the Canyons Foundation, performs a variety of complex and specialized duties including; coordinating all aspects of Foundation special events, administrative, clerical, specialized office support functions, advancement of fundraising initiatives and projects. Serves as a confidential aide to the Director and/or other professional staff providing them with support of clerical duties involving the Foundation’s events and fundraising programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in all aspects of event coordination, and customer service.
Education:
Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) from an accredited college or university is required. Two additional years of related experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 units of education requirement. Additional education or Bachelor degree desirable.
