CommUnify, Santa Barbara County’s largest nonprofit organization, is currently seeking Case Managers for the Santa Maria area. These are newly created positions in the Familias Seguras/ Secure Families program funded by CalVIP. The Case Manager will work directly with youth and their families to provide intensive case management addressing the cycle of violence and trauma experienced by families in Santa Maria. Services will include the development of natural supports, monitoring of client progress, crisis intervention, and referrals to necessary resources. Case management experience, and knowledge of local community resources are preferred. Enthusiastic passion for youth, Families, and the Santa Maria community is required.
The position includes the following details:
- Full-time with benefits and Part-time, no benefits.
- REQUIRES: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Human Development or other behavior sciences field and two (2) years of experience in a social services setting such as working directly with children, families and young adults, or in a case management, mental health or family services agency.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
