Compensation: $30-33/hr

Position Summary

The Advancement Manager supports Savie Health’s development and fundraising efforts with a strong focus on grant research, writing, submission, and reporting. This role also assists with donor communications, light communications support, and fundraising events.

The Advancement Manager works closely with the Executive Director to help strengthen Savie Health’s funding base and community partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

Grants & Institutional Giving

  • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
  • Write, submit, and manage grant proposals, applications, and reports
  • Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive grant tracking system, including deadlines, reporting requirements, and submission status
  • Ensure all grant applications and reports are submitted on or before funder deadlines
  • Coordinate with staff and leadership to gather programmatic and financial information for grant submissions
  • Maintain organized digital files for grant applications, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Director regarding grant opportunities, submissions, and reporting requirements

Individual Donor Support

  • Assist with donor outreach, acknowledgements, and stewardship
  • Support donor communications, including thank-you letters and updates
  • Help maintain organized donor records in coordination with leadership

Communications & Visibility

  • Support light communications efforts, including basic social media updates
  • Assist with drafting newsletters, email updates, or donor communications
  • Ensure messaging aligns with Savie Health’s mission and voice

Events & Fundraising Support

  • Assist with planning and coordination of fundraising or community events
  • Support event logistics, outreach, and follow-up
  • Help with donor and sponsor communications related to events

Education & Experience

Required

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, grant writing, or communications
  • Demonstrated experience writing and managing grant proposals and reports
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
  • Comfort working in a small, collaborative nonprofit environment

Preferred

  • Experience with donor databases or CRM systems
  • Familiarity with social media platforms or nonprofit communications
  • Experience supporting fundraising events
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
