Veggie Rescue’s Sweet 16 celebration will be a joyful evening in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, featuring live music, delicious bites from local restaurants, exquisite wine, a lively auction, and a sweet dessert auction to close the night. We are honored to have sisters Belle Hahn and Lily Hahn Shining as our event hosts.
The gathering will take place on a working farm that has generously donated thousands of pounds of produce to Veggie Rescue over the years. With zinnias and sunflowers in full bloom, the setting reflects the heart of our mission. Proceeds from the event will support Veggie Rescue’s anti hunger and anti food waste work, transporting more than 725,000 pounds of surplus produce and other food via our three refrigerated trucks from farms, farmers markets, stores, and restaurants, and donating it within 24 hours to nonprofit partners serving hungry community members across Santa Barbara County.
