Spokes Board Academy

Spokes Board Academy is basic preparation for serving as an effective member of a nonprofit board of directors. It is open to current and prospective board members and anyone just curious about the role. In a series of weekly, one-hour, online classes, you’ll cover such topics as board basics, legal and ethical matters, insurance and risk management, governance, banking and finance, and fundraising. The Academy begins Tuesday February 15 and continues on Tuesdays through March 29. Participants may enroll in any or all of the individual sessions. Learn more/register.
