Join us on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the beautiful beachfront Cabrillo Pavilion (1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara) for an inspiring evening celebrating transformation and possibility.
This year’s Pathway to Freedom honors Elizabeth Calvin, Senior Advocate at Human Rights Watch’s Children’s Rights Division, for her groundbreaking work advancing reforms in California’s juvenile justice system. Through her leadership, she has successfully influenced landmark legislation that prioritizes rehabilitation over incarceration, opening doors for thousands of youth to lead healthier, more hopeful lives.
As the only organization in Santa Barbara County solely dedicated to supporting youth impacted by the legal system, Freedom 4 Youth has transformed over 5,000 young lives since 2008. Your presence will help us continue this vital work through:
- Our Girls Leadership Program across three campuses
- Culinary Arts Training Program, which served 1,473 community members through 52 events and secured 11 paid positions this year
- Culturally responsive mental health services in English and Spanish
- Transformative youth development programs
Enjoy an exquisite dinner prepared by Freedom 4 Youth chefs, featuring local ingredients and inspiring success stories. Together, we’ll unite community leaders, organizations, and justice system representatives to further our mission of building safe communities by empowering young individuals through personal, educational, professional, and community growth opportunities.
