Join us for a spectacular celebration of Spanish culture, food, architecture, music, and more the weekend before Old Spanish Days Fiesta begins in Santa Barbara! Noche de Gala, once described as the “gala of galas, one of pageantry and tradition,” is a familiar classic that was traditionally held at the Biltmore Hotel for decades before disappearing after 1994. This year in its grand revival, the event will be reimagined with modern twists throughout the Casa del Herrero estate… Montecito’s only National Historic Landmark.
Guests to Noche de Gala will enjoy high-end, tray-passed hors d’oeuvres featuring traditional Spanish cuisine along with an open bar as light Spanish and Mediterranean music fills the air.
We will be holding a mini exhibition in the Living Room to showcase Fiesta and Spanish attire through the decades in a collaboration with the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. The display will feature George and Carrie Steedman’s original Fiesta costumes from the 1930s – an event they loved to support and frequent!
The highlight of our evening will be a very special, private dance performance by Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta! We’re proud to be involved with and support the community in the same ways the Steedmans would have, so partial proceeds from our event will go to support youth dance programming with Old Spanish Days.
This is a 21+ event.
