Overview

This course focuses on creating mentally healthy workplaces by acknowledging intergenerational differences – from Gen Z to Baby Boomers – and promoting an inclusive environment where communication, self-care, and mental health are prioritized. Participants will learn to identify and navigate generational differences, and develop strategies that support team well-being and retention. Through practical exercises that focus on your own company’s mission and values, attendees will map their workplace environment to foster sustainable change, involve teams in meaningful ways that overcome intergenerational barriers, and create a culture where communication thrives.

Learning Outcomes:

Through this workshop you will learn about:

  • How different generations in the workforce typically respond to stress
  • How to conduct an environment map of the internal and external issues that impact your team members
  • How to best leverage leadership and “activate” your staff to effectively build a workplace culture of communication, healthy workplace behaviors, and sustainable change.

Creating an 

This workshop is designed for nonprofit leaders charged with overseeing and motivating teams of staff and/or volunteers.  Organizations are encouraged to bring their leadership teams.
