She is a former Executive Director with 20 years experience in 2 major local non-profits–the Sansum Diabetes Research Institute and the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. She build development departments and grown budgets exceeding $8 million. She has taught grant writing, donor engagement, and cultivation to development staff and secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant support. Additionally, she has  written as well as edited multiple grants, newsletters, press releases, and articles written by development staff. She is a proven leader with a track record of strategic planning, community engagement and fund growth.
